The multi-layered and sturdy padding prevents the shin bone from penetrating the padding, reducing the risk of bruises even with hard kicks or elbows. For a secure fit, two wide hook and loop fasteners can be easily opened and closed, even when wearing boxing gloves. Additionally, two elastic bands hold the protector in place around the foot area. The transition to the instep is improved with a neoprene insert, making the foot section more flexible. The shin guards are made from high-quality synthetic leather and are delivered as a pair.
